Meet Tamara Bibb, RN, BSN – Founder & Program Director

Hey there, I’m Tamara Bibb, born and raised in Monroe, Michigan, and proudly rooted in a town that knows the meaning of community. For the last 16 years I’ve walked the halls of long-term-care facilities and held the hands of hospice patients in their final moments. Those experiences taught me an unshakable truth: Certified Nursing Assistants are the backbone of healthcare—the first to notice subtle changes, the steady voice in the dark, the heartbeat of the bedside.

Why a CNA Program?

I’ve always believed great nursing starts long before an RN charts a note. It begins with the CNA who spots the fever, calms the family, or simply offers a glass of water at 3 a.m. After years of mentoring aides on the floor, I realized my dream wasn’t just to care for patients—it was to multiply that care by empowering the next generation. That dream takes shape here in Monroe through a comprehensive CNA program built on three pillars:

  1. Skill Mastery – Evidence-based techniques and rigorous hands-on practice.
  2. Compassionate Presence – Communication, empathy, and the art of “seeing” the whole person.
  3. Career Momentum – Clear pathways to LPN, RN, and beyond, because growth should never hit a ceiling.

My “Why” Runs on Family

When I’m not teaching vitals or reviewing care plans, I’m navigating the beautiful chaos of life with my loving husband and our 12 incredible children. They remind me daily that patience is a superpower, laughter heals, and every individual learns differently—lessons I channel straight into the classroom.

Looking Ahead

Monroe’s CNA program is just the foundation.

Because nursing isn’t static, neither are we. Our mission is to evolve with the needs of patients, families, and the healthcare system itself.

I can’t wait to welcome you into a program where competence meets heart, and where every graduate walks out knowing they matter—because the best care always starts with the best caregivers. See you in class!
